catching up

So, I finally found my connector for the computer so I can put pictures up. Guess who had it? Kali! She borrowed it when I was in Utah in August! All these pictures are of the kids and their first day of school. Karissa sophmore at ASU!

UPDATE

I haven't posted because I still can't find the thing I need to download my pictures to my computer. Sorry, no pictures again. Kelsey and Karissa started ASU. Karissa her sophmore year and Kelsey her freshman.(She already has around 15 credits from some of the classes she took in high school) Jake had his first football game for Taylor. They played Shepherd Jr. High. It was played at Mesa High. His team lost but Jake had a great game. He was really tired because he played almost the entire game. He had some great catches and he caused a fumble and recovered it. The line had a hard time but I thought the Taylor team did really good considering there are only 6 guys on the team that had ever played football before. This was the first game ever for some of them. Jake is a receiver on offense and safety of defense. Other wise that is about all that has been going on.

Sorry I haven't posted but I wanted to put up pictures but I can't find the thing I need to down load my pictures on my computer. We went to Utah for the booksellers convention for Rob. It went well but the fun was visiting with friends and family that live in Utah. Jake, Jaycie, and Savanna started school. Jake is in 9th, Jaycie in 7th and Savanna in 4th. So far they all seem to be enjoying themselves. Jake is busy with football. It is going to be a lot of fun watching him play for a school team. Kelsey and Karissa haven't started ASU. Yesterday was the one year mark from Rob's stroke. It's a little strange. Hopefully he will keep progressing . I'll post again when I can put pictures up.

My brother Edwin died June 30th. His funeral was on July 7th. This is at the luncheon. This is my mother (standing in the black dress), Uncle Anthon(far left), Aunt Barbara, Uncle Ernie(my mom is standing behind him) and Aunt Iris on the right.

Bluewater

I finally got my computer back so here are some pictures from our trip to the cabin. This is Jaycie riding the quad. She has gotten pretty good at driving around.
We had smores to nights when we were up there. That was alot of fun.
We hiked down to the water fall. We call it the jungle. Rob did a great job getting down there. I didn't think he could do it but he did. He was very tired afterward.
Ever since my family started going to the cabin and hike the jungle we get a picture on this rock. There has been some good memories. Here is my family plus three friends. Dana Woodbury(Karissa's friend), McKay Angle(Jake's friend), and Taylor McCleary(Kelsey's friend).
Here's the cabin. We love going to Bluewater, New Mexico. My parents didn't come with us this year because of Edwin's death and we had to cut our trip short because of the funeral but it was beautiful and alot of fun. The fireworks on the 4th was alot of fun too.

Busy July

Sorry I haven't posted. My computer broke and is getting fixed. I am on Rob's so there will be no pictures. Sorry! On June 30th my brother Edwin died. He was 60 years old. We left for Bluewater on July 2nd as planned but came home on July 6th for Edwin's funeral on July 7th. His funeral was nice and alot of relatives came. Rob gave the plan of salvation talk and Karissa and I did the prelude. I played the piano and she played the cello. We did primary songs because my brother served alot in the nursery. The short vacation was nice. All of my family went and a few friends of the kids. We haven't had a vacation with everyone in three years. Today Jake had his nose surgery to fix his broken nose. Also today, Jaycie had 8 teeth taken out by the oral surgeon. 4 babies and 4 adults. They are both doing pretty good. Also, my uncle Bud died last friday and his funeral is today in Idaho. I was not able to go with all of these surgeries. He was 90. I will post more when I can put pictures up.
