Happy Birthday Kali!

Today my oldest baby turns 23!!  I can't believe it.  I was thinking this morning about her birth.  We were living in Provo, UT.  and Kali was due on Christmas day.  My parents had come up from Mesa to spend Christmas with was and help with Kali when she was born.  My mom and I had done some laudery and we decided to go to the mall and do some Christmas shopping.  I told Rob right before we left that I felt like I had been wetting my pants all morning.  We decided to stop by my doctors office before we went shopping.  My water had been leaking all morning so they sent me to the hospital.  I checked in at 4:30 pm and had Kali at 7:30 pm.  It was also my mom's 65th birthday too.  Pretty good present.  I went into the hospital with no snow and we I left the next day there was snow everywhere.  It was a great day and Kali has been a great daughter.  Now she will be having a daughter soon.  Life is crazy!!

Kali

Sorry I was wrong.  As it says on the ticker, Kali is 25 weeks.  2 weeks does make a difference.  Ya baby Brooklyn, can't wait until March 13th!!

Update

Sorry it has taken me so long to catch up on the happenings of the Jarvis Family.  All Karissa wanted for her birthday was cowboy boots.  The Browns are a cowboy family and she needed her pair of cowboy boots.  Watch Out For These Boots!!
Savanna's dance company danced the half-time show at Mesa High for their Fear the Hop Basketball Tournament.
They did a great job and it was fun watching this future Mesa dancer/cheerleader!
I made the turkey this year for Thanksgiving. This is only my 3rd time doing a turkey. We had dinner at our house.  I tried out my new roaster.  I think it turned out great and tasted very good.  Donna's family was over, my parents and Rob's parents.  Kali and Kason came over later for dessert.  Karissa and Barry where out of town in Cottonwood with the Brown family.  We missed them.
The 2010 Christmas Tree is up.  Monday night for home evening we put the tree up.  Everyone was here except Kelsey.  She was asked  to go to the Cardinal and 49er's football game on Monday Night football.  It was her first professional football game.  They lost bad, but she said she had fun.  We missed her.
Here's my cut kids, minus cute Kelsey!
Here's Kelsey after she got home from the game.
Kali's belly bump is getting bigger.  She looks so cute pregnant. I think she is at 23 weeks.

Karissa

Karissa Pauline Jarvis Brown turned 21 on November 21st.  Happy Birthday Karissa!!  Hope your day was great.  Since her birthday was on a Sunday we went out to eat as a family last night for home evening.  We went to Giant Hamburger.  It was rummy!  On her birthday we had Jarvis' and Brown's over for cake and ice cream and a few games.  It was a lot of fun.  The only thing Karissa wanted for her birthday was cowboy boots (picture to come later).  Happy Birthday Karissa we love you!!

Halloween and Jake football

Halloween 2010!!  We celebrated on the 30th because Halloween was on a Sunday.  Jake as Elvis
 Savanna is the Mad-Hatter
Jaycie as a court Jester.  Jaycie went with her friend Emily, her mom and dad, and some other girls to haunted houses.  She said there was some good haunted houses. We went over to the Udall's for their annual chili and soups.  They always invite people over because Collin Udall's birthday is on Halloween.  It is a very fun way to start off the evening.
Savanna wanted to walk around with her friends this year. Ashley, Allison, Savanna, and Shaylee. They are sooooo cute!! I was able to sit out front with my parents, my brother Gene, and Kali joined us this year.   Rob, Kelsey, Karissa, and Barry went to the ASU football game.
Kelsey dressed up at an ASU devil since she was going to the game. Security took her pitch fork away because it could be a weapon.  She had to get it back at the end of the game.  DUMB! When she got back she went to a dance party with her friend Danny Parker. He was Michael Jackson.  Sorry no picture.
Had to put this picture in.  These are Jake's friend Tyler Taylor(mountain man) and McKay Angle(cowboy).  Aren't they cute?!!
Jake had his last football game.  The team didn't have a winning record but Jake was amazing this year!#16  He was on offense, defense, and punt return.  Can't wait until Varsity next year.
Speaking of Varsity.  They moved up 3 JV players for Varsity's last game. Jake (31), Erik Sanchez(60) and another guy.  They played Hamilton.  Mesa got their butt's kicked.  Jake did get to go in for the last set of defense downs as a safety.  He even made the last tackle of the game.  He went in once in the 3rd quarter as safety because the 1st string guy got hurt alittle.  He did not like standing on the side lines most of the night.  He has never had to do that before.  Usually he is always in.  It was a honor to be moved up for the game so that was good.
Yes, he did the hauka (spelled wrong sorry) before the game.  It is a Mesa tradition for the Varsity to do this.  Bring on 2011 football!!

Kali's Belly 2

Here is Kali at 20 weeks.  Last week I went with her to another ultrasound she had.  It was so much fun seeing her baby girl.  The baby is measuring right on her due date.  March 13, 2011!  3/4 of a pound and 9 inches long. (that was a week ago so she is a little bigger now)
You can finally tell she is pregnant!!  The little bump!

Jack-o-laterns

For home evening last night we did our jack-o-lanterns.  I have to say we are all getting really good at it. Everyone was there except for Kason.  He had to take a test for school.  We missed him, but it was Barry's first Jarvis pumpkin carving experience.  Welcome Barry!!!  Here's Jaycie being her funny self.
 Jake cleaning out his pumpkin
Karissa cleaning out hers.  She really didn't clean out that much because she doesn't like the insides of pumpkins so Barry did most of it.
Kali was on her own this year.  I think she did a great job.
 Here's Kelsey with her jack-o-lantern.
 The finished product!  Pretty good!
That is mine and Rob's.  We used a pattern we found on the internet.  That title "What!"
Last week was Mesa High's Homecoming.  Jake was asked to be on the sophomore float
Sorry out of order but her is Savanna cleaning her's out. It was a fun night!
