December 2011

 December has been a busy month.  Believe it or not but at the beginning of December it got really cold her and rained a lot so we had a fire.  We don't get to do this very much so really really enjoyed it.

 Brooklyn was sick a lot at the end of November and beginning of December.

 She had to have breathing treatments 3 times a day.  Sad but look how cute she is.

 This year we were able to get a live Christmas tree.  This Rob and I putting up the first original Christmas ornament of our family.  "Our First Christmas Together"

 Savanna got to put up the star this year.  Jake helped.

 We only had one Christmas concert this year.  Savanna did a really good job and she even had a small solo.

 Yesterday was Kali's 24th birthday.  I can't believe my first baby is 24!  We looked at some old movie of her.  It was funny.  She was an adorable little girl and now a beautiful women.

 Kali shares her birthday with my mother.  She turned 84.

Halloween

 Brooklyn's first Halloween.  She went as a cute bumblebee.  Isn't she the cutest?

 Kali loved dressing her up.  I think she gets that from me.  I loved dressing up my kids.  Halloween is such fun.  We had another fun time.

 The pictures are out of order.  Savanna is a blue macaw from the movie Rio.  She is Jewel.  She has a mask but Brooklyn cried when she had it on.

 On Sunday the 30th we craved our pumpkins.  Brooklyn didn't like the inside of the pumpkin at all.  She put her hand in once and never would again.  What is Kason doing in the background?

 Karissa and Barry made a deer jack-o-lantern. 

 Jaycie crazy as always.  She made a jack-o-lantern with his tongue sticking out.

 Kelsey has way to much fun with a large knife.

 Jake couldn't decide what he wanted for the face of his jack-o-lantern so he did something that is up to your own interpretation.  I thought it looked like a werewolf from Twilight coming out of the bushes.  With the candle in and all the lights off all you see is two beady eyes.

 Here are all of the 2011 Jack-O-Lanterns.  I think they all came out great.  A Deer (by Karissa and Barry), Jack ripping the guts out of another Jack (Kali, Kason, and Brooklyn), Joker (by Kelsey and Calvin), Up for your interpretation (by Jake), Jack with tongue out (by Jaycie), Penguin (by Savanna) and Jack-bat (by Rob and I).

 Look Barry is trying to smile.  Whenever I take a picture he always makes a face.  Yes, that is Karissa with darker hair.  Strange.

 Savanna with her mask and beak on.  She couldn't decide what to be this year. So, a week before Halloween I told her to go look in the dress up box of all the old dance costumes.  She found Kali's ballet costume and decided to be a blue macaw.  I think we did a great job.

 Savanna, Jaycie (Mother Nature) and Karissa (mad scientist)  Jake didn't dress up and Kelsey dressed up the Weds. before Halloween for a party (prison zombie).  I didn't a picture.  She had to stay home and study for a big test on Halloween.  Boring!!

Last but not least.  Jaycie as Mother Nature.  This was a old choir dress.  I thought she did a good job.  Jaycie just made the JV soccer team.  It was a great Halloween.
