Christmas Eve, everyone with their new PJ's. Christmas was a wonderful day. Rob's parents were out of town so we spent the whole day at home. My family came over for dinner in the afternoon. Rob got a new phone which I am very happy about because his old one didn't work very well. Now he is always playing with it. Some of the kids got new Ipods. All in all it was a wonderful day.

MOre pictures of December!

We had our Laurel Christmas Party at my house last night. Every year we have a fun sock exchange and lots of food. This year Stephanie Romney read a cute story and every time she said right or left you passed your present around. When the story was done, that's the gift you get. It was a lot of fun. Look at all the great socks! Very fun tradition.
Here's Savanna at the piano recital.

More December Fun!

Savanna and Jaycie had a piano recital. Karissa played a duet with Jaycie. They did really well.
Savanna had her first orchestra concert. The 4th graders sounded pretty good. They have only been playing since September.
Kali graduated from ASU. We had a party at our house to celebrate. She received her degree in secondary education majoring in History. We are so proud of her. She did it in 3 1/2 years! Now she is just looking for a job. This is Kali with Kason and their friend Barry.
This is another friend of Kali's from high school, Fatma.
Jaycie had her band concert. Those 7th graders are sounding pretty good. All the songs sound like real songs!

December Fun!

Last night we put up our Christmas tree. We got to buy a real tree this year so the house smells wonderful! Kason couldn't be there because he had school.
Jake and the Teen Tones from Taylor Jr. High sang at the temple grounds. It is always a lot of fun to go to the temple grounds and hear the music and look at the great lights. It always puts me in the Christmas spirit.
We had our ward Christmas party. As always the Bishop, Counselors, and Clerks have to perform something. This year was the best. This is Rob and they played Christmas carols with those tubes using their legs and heads. It was so funny. I have it on video. I will try to have Karissa help me put it on my blog. Really funny!!
Basketball has begun. Jake is one of the captains and gets to play alot if he doesn't get into foul trouble. I think he is a point guard but I'm really not sure. Sometimes it depends who is in.
So far they are undefeated, winning four games. His number is 25. They play Poston today. It should be a really good game.
