Homecoming 2011

Jake went to his first homecoming dance.  This is his date Matti McGee.  He is the Junior Class President and she is the Junior Class Vice-President.  It was also her first date ever!!   He said they had a great time.
 Isn't he such a cutie!!
 Pretty Cute!!
Aunt Susann was in town for her 50th High School Reunion.  Part of the union was going to the Mesa High football game.  Sadly Mesa lost but Jake had a great game.  That is why he is having a hard time smiling.
Mesa had a parade right after school on game day for homecoming.  Jake and friends worked really hard on their Junior Class float.  I think it turned out really good.  I am glad that is over.  He still has a big mess to clean up on the side of the house.

Happy boy, glad it is over!!!

Loss

Our sweet Bishop Chiles died today from a heart attack.  He served our ward well.  Rob was his 2nd counselor for 2 1/2 years.  He set the example of loving everyone.  He will be missed.  We are grateful for our knowledge of the eternal plan.

It's catch up time again

The Jarvis Family has started having quarterly Family Home Evenings. The September FHE was held at our house.  We celebrated B-days, Rob gave a great little lesson, and then we played minute to win it.  We competed as families.  The above picture is Jaycie, Bryson, and Brady with the Ding Dong stack.  Jaycie won for us.
Kristy won stacking the cups and taking them down with the fastest time.
For your information, Kelsey has been dating this cute guy, Calvin Clifford, for the past two months.
Jaycie has been doing really well as the starting setter for the freshman volleyball team.  Her serves have gotten really good too.
 She is ready to go.
Sorry pictures are out of order.  This is Savanna doing the stacking tooth picks on the bottle.
The Mesa Girls Volleyball teams did a Race for the Cure run.  Kelsey joined Jaycie.  Still smiling even after running.
Rob celebrated his 47th birthday on October 9th.
Jaycie celebrated her 15th birthday on October 10th.
Just had to put in this cute picture of Brooklyn.  She is 7 months old now.
Jaycie with one of her presents
Her cute cake.  That's it for the pictures.  Life is going well.  Jake is now back playing football.  He had to sit out a little over a month.  He had a game last night and played some.  He is doing good working himself pack into playing.
