Birthdays, Bluewater, and more

At the beginning of March the 6th grade class at Savanna's school had a Medieval Festival.  They had to dress up.  Here is Savanna (middle), Cambryn (left) and Allison (right)
For a grade they had to build a castle.  Savanna and her friend Cambryn decided to make one out of food.  Yes, that lunch meat, bread, cheese, and lettuce.
This is Savanna and her 6th grade teacher Gwen Lenz.  Best teacher ever!
In December they also had to make Egyptian masks.  They put plaster on their faces.  Took them off, had them harden, and then painted them.  This is really a plaster face of Savanna.
Jake and Brooklyn's birthdays.  We had a small celebration on March 8th.  Jake had a volleyball game and got home late.  Jake is 17 and Brooklyn is 1.
 Blowing out the candles.
For Spring Break we went up to the cabin.  There was a little snow.  Brooklyn's first snow.
Jaycie took Brooklyn on her first quad ride.
We had problems with the water pump in the pump house.  Yes, we went 4 days without water.  We had to go down to Aunt Ruth's for water and to shower.
Brooklyn bathed in the kitchen sink.  We had to warm the water on the stove.
We went up into the mountains for a little sledding.  Brooklyn had a fun time.
 Jaycie trying out the sled.
Kason, Kali, and Brooklyn.  What a cute family!
Sorry I have this picture twice.  That's ok she is sooooo cute!

 Rob not doing so well
Four monkeys on the roof (Savanna, Jaycie, Karli, and Brandon)
We love the cabin in Bluewater, New Mexico.  Even though we had water problems it still was a great trip.  I even got to read a book. Book 1 of the Hunger Games.  I think Kali read 2 books.
After we got home Kali bought Brooklyn a swim suit.  The pool is still cold but putting the hose on the trampoline is still fun too.  She loves her sunglasses.
